Vegetarian diet

Vegetarian diet

The following vegetarian diet presents a daily menu which implies a combination of 80% carbohydrates, 10% proteins and 10% of fat. This diet was released by Douglas Graham, an American Doctor, and has recently become a lifestyle for many raw food followers. This vegan diet was named, 80-10-10, reflecting the proportions of the nutrient composition provided by its menu. All meals include only fresh ingredients, while the eaten food is unprocessed and not cooked. Follow this regime and you”ll end up eating healthy and losing weight in the same time!

The 80-10-10 diet is a low fat vegetarian diet that has powerful detoxification properties. According to dr. Graham and his “The 80-10-10 Diet” book, this regime implies three main meals each day. The breakfast provides a huge quantity of carbs. This way you will have enough energy throughout the day. Dinner is, curiously, the richest meal of the day, containing three types of unprocessed dishes: a fruit juice, a soup (that doesn’t require boiling) and a salad. This vegan diet menu provides around 2000 calories a day. Let’s check it out!
